Biography:

Yan Ke is currently the deputy principal of the second violin of the China Philharmonic Orchestra and director of the Chamber Music Society of the Chinese Musicians Association
At the age of 4, he studied violin with Professor Liu Deyong of Sichuan Conservatory of Music. In 1992, he was admitted to the Middle School Attached to the Central Conservatory of Music and studied violin under Professor Huang Xiaozhi. In 1998, he studied at the Central Conservatory of Music for an undergraduate degree, under the tutelage of Professor Wang Zhenshan, a famous violin educator. During his school days, he served as the Deputy Principal of the China Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Principal of the China Youth Symphony Orchestra. He accompanied the group to perform in Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Hong Kong and other countries and regions. In 1998, he participated in the summer camp of the Asian Youth Symphony Orchestra, and visited many countries such as Switzerland, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Italy with the group.
In 2001, he was admitted to the China Philharmonic Orchestra, and he visited Puerto Rico, France, Austria, Italy, the United States, Germany and Singapore with the group.
In 2006, he recorded China's first violin pure solo fever music sky dish, and selected 14 of the most classic violin songs from China and abroad. In recent years, he has recorded violin solos for many film and television works such as "Confucius", "1942", "Youth", and "I Am Not the God of Medicine", which has been well received by many composers.
